Actress Meryl Streep created quite the ruckus while giving her acceptance speech at Sunday night’s Golden Globes. Her lengthy speech for receiving the Cecil B. DeMille Award was directed at president-elect Donald Trump, Streep managed to take a shot at mixed martial arts along the way.
“Hollywood is crawling with outsiders and foreigners, and if we kick them all out you’ll have nothing to watch but football and mixed martial arts, which are not the arts,” Streep said.
While many have no qualms with Streep taking a shot at Trump, why did she have to go after MMA?
