Curtis Blaydes doesn’t think Tom Aspinall cowered out of his fight against Ciryl Gane at UFC 321.
Aspinall put his heavyweight title on the line against Gane at UFC 321 this past October. The highly-anticipated matchup ended anticlimactically after Gane simultaneously poked Aspinall in both eyes in the first round. Despite taking four out of the five allotted minutes, Aspinall failed to recover, and the fight was declared a no contest.
Gane looked good on his feet against Aspinall for as long as the fight lasted. This led some fighters and fans to believe that Aspinall might have been looking for a way out of the fight.
