Cub Swanson has a little bit of extra motivation heading into his UFC Fight Night 161 showdown with Kron Gracie.
The featherweight veteran claims that multiple jiu-jitsu schools declined to train him because his opponent has the Gracie name. Gracie debuted in the Octagon with a first-round submission of Alex Caceres at UFC on ESPN 1 to improve his professional mark to 5-0
“Because he’s a Gracie and he has the name, it’s been an interesting one. I’ve been kicked out of a couple of jiu-jitsu schools because of the respect.
