Covington wants immediate rematch with Usman, puts ‘Marc Not So Goodard’ on blast for fake stoppage

Colby Covington wants to return to the Octagon much sooner than expected.

Although ‘Chaos’ was thought to be a nursing a broken jaw following his fifth-round TKO loss to Kamaru Usman at UFC 245, the former interim welterweight champion has assured us he’s in good shape and ready to go.

Speaking to MMA Fighting in a recent interview, Covington demanded an immediate rematch with Usman and blamed referee ‘Marc Not So Goodard’ for issuing a ‘fake stoppage’ in the fifth round.

“I went out there and I beat up ‘Marty Fakenewsman’ for 24 minutes until the ref had to stop the fight on a fake stoppage – a bullsh*t stoppage,” Covington said on Monday.
