Cory Sandhagen is booked to fight Frankie Edgar again. This time, multiple reports state that the bantamweight clash is set to happen at UFC’s February 6 event, likely in Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
Sandhagen is currently the number two ranked bantamweight, while Edgar is ranked at number five, and the bout could have title implications after the planned Petr Yan vs Aljamain Sterling championship fight.
The pair was originally matched up for a bout last January, but it was scrapped when Edgar was moved to save a main event against Chan Sung Jung instead.
