Cortney Casey Fails Drug Test at UFC 211; Win vs. Jessica Aguilar Overturned

Cortney Casey’s victory over Jessica Aguilar at UFC 211 was overturned after testing positive for elevated levels of testosterone in an in-competition drug screening.

As a result, Casey’s unanimous decision triumph over Aguilar has been changed to a no contest, according to the mixedmartialarts.com database. MMAFighting.com was first to report the news of Casey’s positive test and also confirmed that the 30-year-old strawweight has been suspended for three months. Casey is also likely to face a $2,000 fine.

According to Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation records, Casey was flagged for a testosterone-to-epitestosterone ratio of 5.
