Corey Anderson releases statement following KO loss at UFC Rio Rancho: ‘We live and we learn’

Just over three months after a spectacular knockout win, UFC light heavyweight contender Corey Anderson found himself on the wrong end of an opening round KO.

Anderson was stopped by Jan Blachowicz in Saturday’s UFC Rio Rancho main event, ending his winning streak at four and setting back his title shot aspirations. Shortly after the loss, Anderson released a short but optimistic statement on Instagram.

”A great coach once told me ‘You have 5 minutes to sulk and then it’s on to the next one!’” he said. “We live and we learn.
