The Notorious Conor McGregor likes records, and he just regained another one by earning a $3 million payday for showing at UFC 202, according to MMA Fighting. McGregor originally set the record at UFC 196, the first bout between McGregor and Nate Diaz, with a $1 million payday. That fight, which took place in March, was the first time a fighter was guaranteed a seven-figure payday in UFC history.
Since then the record was broken by Brock Lesnar, who earned $2.5 million for his return to the Octagon at UFC 200 when he defeated Mark Hunt.
