UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor and boxing legend Floyd Mayweather continue to antagonize one another in the press, but McGregor certainly has love for another combat sports star.
On Wednesday evening, reporter Adam Glyn, best known for his work with TMZ Sports, spoke with the 29-year-old Irishman on the streets of New York. McGregor was in town for the seventh Best of Ireland Gala in the Big Apple, an annual event held to raise funds for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin, the Dublin suburb “The Notorious” one hails from.
Mayweather defeated McGregor in August to move to 50-0 as a pro boxer, knocking him out in the 10th round of their “Money Fight.
