On Sunday night, former Ultimate Fighting Championship two-division champion Conor McGregor took part in the MTV Video Music Awards at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The Irish fighter had a skirmish with Machine Gun Kelly on the red carpet, apparently over a photo request from McGregor denied by the rapper. The subsequent hubbub involved the security staff, who intervened to separate the two men.
After the ceremony, McGregor spoke with Entertainment Tonight and denied being involved in an altercation when asked about what happened.
