Conor McGregor arrested for allegedly smashing, stealing cell phone outside Miami hotel

The former UFC two-division champion is being charged on two counts for allegedly smashing a fan’s phone early Monday outside a famous Miami Beach hotel, the Miami Beach Police Department confirmed with MMA Fighting.

McGregor was arrested at 5:56 p.m. local time Monday on charges of strong-armed robbery, a second-degree felony, and criminal mischief, a third-degree felony, per the arrest affidavit obtained by MMA Fighting. McGregor was transported to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
