Colby Covington doesn’t think Tony Ferguson should continue competing after his first combat sports win in several years.

Ferguson parted ways with the UFC after an eight-fight losing streak, the longest in the promotion’s history. “El Cucuy” made his pro boxing debut last weekend against YouTuber turned boxer Nathaniel Bustamante, aka Salt Papi. Ferguson finally returned to the win column with a slightly controversial third-round stoppage win over Papi.

Covington congratulated Ferguson on his successful boxing debut while also recalling the UFC 296 press conference when he and Ferguson publicly expressed their support for each other.
