‘Cobrinha’ to be Inducted into ADCC Hall of Fame

Rubens Charles Maciel, better known under his nickname ‘Cobrinha’ is the next inductee in the ADCC Hall of Fame. A medalist in every major BJJ and grappling competition, Maciel is best known for his discipline, as for most of his life he dedicated himself to training two times a day, seven days a week.

The three-time ADCC champion in the 66 kg division, he began his championship reign in 2013 by defeating Rafael Mendes after a 40 minute long, gruelling match. He also was triumphant in 2015 and 2017, what would be the last grappling competition of his career.
