Coach Still Believes ATT Product Will Be Future Champion

Mateusz Gamrot’s head coach, Mike Thomas Brown, continues to believe in his fighter, despite his recent loss.

Gamrot (25-4) headlined UFC Rio against Charles Oliveira (36-11) on Saturday behind enemy lines at Farmasi Arena in Rio de Janeiro. A slight favourite going into the fight, “Gamer” was controlled by Oliveira on the ground and submitted with a face crank in the second round.

Brown has since discussed Gamrot’s loss, standing firm beside his pupil. Brown noted that Gamrot originally was preparing for an Ultimate Fighting Championship headliner against Nazim Sadykhov on Nov.
