After having her bout cancelled on weigh-in day because Alexa Grasso missed weight by 5.5 pounds, former strawweight title challenger Claudia Gadelha did not go too long without a fight booked.
Per UFC Brazil’s official Instagram, Gadelha will now take on fellow Brazilian Marina Rodriguez at UFC Oklahoma City, in May.
In her last outing, Claudia Gadelha (17-4) bested Randa Markos via unanimous decision back in July 2019. With the win, the 31-year-old bounced back from a unanimous decision defeat to Nina Ansaroff, in December 2018.
Undefeated prospect Marina Rodriguez (12-0-2) will look to continue her unbeaten streak after fighting Cynthia Calvillo to a majority draw back in December 2019.
