Chris Fields will take on former light heavyweight title contender Marcin Wojcik at KSW 42 on March 3 in Lodz, Poland.
A former Cage Warriors middleweight champion and TUF contestant, Fields (12-7-1) made his promotional debut at KSW 40 with hometown backing in Dublin, recording a decision win over Michal Fijalka.
Fields threatened with multiple submission attempts over the three rounds, but was unable to force his resilient opponent to tap out.
A former KSW light-heavyweight contender, Wojcik (10-5) represents a significant step up in opposition for the Irish veteran.
In his last outing, “The Giant” came up short against light heavyweight champion Tomasz Narkun at the promotion’s record breaking KSW 39: Colosseum – an event which broke the UFC’s European attendance record.
