ONE Championship; Dynasty of Heroes featured some budding names in MMA that continue to grow outside of the United States. Champions Angela Lee and Ben Askren were both able to defend their titles inside the time limit, tightening their grip on their respective weight classes. To go along with their highlight-reel victories, submission ace Garry Tonon defeated Shinya Aoki in their highly anticipated grappling match.
In the main event, Angela Lee submitted Istela Nunes de Souza to improve her record to 8-0. Lee is perhaps the hottest women’s prospect outside of the UFC and ONE FC is well aware of her star power.
