Cerrone ‘begging’ for Ferguson rematch, says McGregor rejected fight offer ‘three or four’ times

Many expected fireworks for the UFC 238 fight between Tony Ferguson and Donald Cerrone in early June. While it did live up to the hype, in ended a bit anti-climactically when “Cowboy” had his right eye swollen shut and doctors deemed him unfit to continue at the end of the second round.

Cerrone is known as a game fighter, and unsurprisingly, he is already looking to run it back with “El Cucuy.”

“Tony Ferguson rematch, I’m begging for it,” Cerrone told MMA Junkie Radio. “August, hopefully no later than September. I can’t fight any later than September, because now I’m running into not being able to get two more at the end of the year.
