Cat Zingano has suffered an undisclosed injury, resulting in the cancellation of a proposed clash with Pam Sorenson at Bellator 276.
The California-based promotion confirmed the news following an initial report from MMA Mania. Bellator 276 takes place on March 12 at the Family Arena in St. Charles, Mo., and is headlined by a featherweight contender’s bout between Adam Borics and Mads Burnell. Zingano vs. Sorenson was slated to be the evening’s featured bout on the preliminary draw.
After exiting the UFC with losses in four of her final five outings, Zingano has kicked off her Bellator tenure with back-to-back triumphs.
