“Black Jag” vanquished fellow light heavyweight contender Dominick Reyes via first-round knockout in the UFC Fight Night 260 headliner at RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, on Saturday night, earning his ninth consecutive triumph within the Las Vegas-based promotion. The performance firmly established Ulberg as potentially the top contender at 205 pounds — which is evidenced by his post-fight plans.
“I told [UFC executive Hunter Campbell] I am prepared to be a backup for next week,” Ulberg said on ESPN+.
