Carlos Prates doesn’t plan on fighting for much longer.
Prates is set to fight former welterweight champ Leon Edwards at UFC 322 on Nov. 15 at Madison Square Garden in New York. “The Nightmare” believes he will be deserving of a title shot if he beats Edwards. Prates revealed that he plans to win the title and defend it in a rematch against Ian Garry before retiring. Garry handed Prates his first UFC loss —and his first overall in six years — this past April. Prates believes he could have won that fight and wants redemption before hanging up his gloves for good.
