The once in a lifetime fight that boxing fans have been waiting for is finally upon us, as undisputed super middleweight champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez puts his WBA, WBO, WBC, IBF and The Ring magazine titles on the line against undefeated super welterweight champion Terence Crawford on Saturday, September 13, live globally on Netflix.
The official announcement of this clash of champions, which takes place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, was made by UFC CEO Dana White and HE Turki Alalshikh, with the event also marking the worldwide launch of Zuffa Boxing.
"Turki wants to make the biggest fights that fans want to see, and this is right up my alley" White explained.
