After a successful first venture into America, one of Europe’s top MMA promotions, Cage Warriors, makes another jump across the pond tonight with Cage Warriors 130. The eight-fight card will be going down live from Humphrey’s by the Bay in San Diego, California.
The main event takes place at a catchweight of 165 pounds, as UFC veteran Spike Carlyle steps in on short notice to take on Bellator veteran JJ Ambrose. Originally set to face Dana White’s Contender Series veteran Kyle Driscoll, 42-fight veteran “Superman” Ambrose is on a five-fight win streak since losing his last Bellator outing to Saad Awad.
