One of Europe’s top MMA promotions, Cage Warriors, makes its first jump across the pond tonight with Cage Warriors 126. The eight-fight card will be going down live from Humphrey’s by the Bay in San Diego, California.
The main event comes at middleweight, as TUF 19 alum John Poppie takes on two-fight UFC veteran Kyle Stewart. In 2019, Poppie returned from a two-year layoff and a three-fight losing streak with authority, grabbing a first-round finish. He has since gathered another victory, and will now look for a three-fight winning streak against “Gunz Up” Stewart, a former Marine who went 0-2 in the UFC, but has gone 2-1 since his release.
