Marlon Vera made the most of his main event moment.
The Ecuadorian known as “Chito” weathered a volume-based attack from Rob Font with heavy artillery, hurting his opponent badly in each of the last four rounds for a unanimous decision triumph in the UFC on ESPN 35 headliner at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Saturday night. Vera has won three straight fights in UFC competition and sends Font to the first two-bout skid of his professional MMA career.
