The Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt tapped out decorated wrestler Ben Askren with a rear-naked choke 3:54 into the third round of the UFC Fight Night 162 headliner in Kallang, Singapore, on Saturday. As a result, it was his third consecutive triumph in the Octagon. While Askren was able to score some takedowns in the fight, Maia was able to win the final key battle of positioning on the mat to set up the fight-ending maneuver.
