Bellator MMA bantamweight champion Patrick Mix easily ranks as one of the top stars competing outside the vast expanse of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Most believe Mix could give many of the UFC’s best at 135 pounds a run for their money on any given day. In his latest assignment, “Patchy” puts his bantamweight title on the line opposite Magomed Magomedov when their rematch headlines Bellator Champions Series 2 this Friday at Accor Arena in Paris. The two men first locked horns in the bantamweight grand prix semifinals at Bellator 289, where Mix outclassed the Russian before he secured a fight-ending guillotine choke.
