Overwhelming physical tools, world-class technique and unwavering self-belief have carried Khamzat Chimaev to the top of his chosen profession.

“Borz” laid claim to the undisputed Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight crown with a woefully one-sided unanimous decision over Dricus Du Plessis in the UFC 319 main event on Aug. 16 at the United Center in Chicago. All three judges scored it 50-44. The victory moved Chimaev to 15-0 and pushed him to the head of the class at 185 pounds. He now sets out to prepare for his first challenger from a group that includes Reinier de Ridder, Caio Borralho, Nassourdine Imavov and Anthony Hernandez.
