Newly-crowned Cage Warriors bantamweight champion, Jack Cartwright, will defend his title when the promotion lands in Manchester for the first time in their history on March 7. Adam Proctor, James Webb, and Mick Stanton are also scheduled to appear on the card, which will kick off the busiest year in Cage Warriors history, as they look to expand further across the region.
Cartwright (7-0) burst onto the domestic scene when he ran through a one-night, four-man bantamweight tournament to claim the vacant Cage Warriors title. In the process of sweeping the field, the Englishman stopped two former title contenders, Scott Malone and Marko Kovacevic, via first round KO.
