Brian Stann, one of the most respected figures ever to grace the sport of mixed martial arts, is moving on.
Stann announced via Instagram on Monday that he is resigning from his position as UFC color commentator to pursue other opportunities, which includes a COO role at a real estate firm and enrollment in Northwestern University’s MBA program.
The Scranton, Penn. native had a memorable run through the sport. He earned early publicity as a fighter in the WEC due to his background as a Silver Star winner for valor as a Marine Corps lieutenant during the Iraq War.
