It seems Brandon Girtz won’t be part of the Bellator MMA bill going down next week in Dublin. The 34-year-old announced his withdrawal from the fight on his social media, but didn’t go into much detail.
“Unfortunately today instead of traveling to Ireland to fight, I’m starting a new journey to recover from an injury sustained a couple days ago, I was hoping for good news but not this time,” Girtz wrote. “This is just a small detour in my journey and I’ll be back with full strength very soon. Life has a plan for me and I’m just rolling with it.
