Undefeated Thomas Almeida (19-0) will try to extend his unbeaten streak to 20 consecutive fights when he takes on Brad Pickett (24-10) at UFC 189 on July 11. UFC officials announced the match-up on Monday.
Almeida made his Octagon debut at UFC Fight Night 56 in November, defeating Tim Gorman by unanimous decision in a clash that won Fight of the Night honors. The 23-year-old Brazilian collected another bonus in his second outing for his TKO stoppage of Yves Jabouin at UFC 186 on April 25.

Pickett will be returning to the bantamweight division to take on Almeida after a three-fight stint in the flyweight division.
