As it stands, Derrick Lewis leads all active UFC fighters with 13 knockout victories. But Tai Tuivasa is quickly gaining ground. With four consecutive knockouts of his own, he now has six to his name, which puts him in the top 10 among active heavyweights.
Tuivasa still has a long way to go before he gets on Lewis' level. But the native Australian has a chance to take a huge stride Saturday night when he faces Lewis in the co-main event of UFC 271, going down in Lewis' hometown of Houston, Texas.
It's a tall order, but Tuivasa appears ready for the challenge.
