In the Showtime Championship Boxing main event last night, Mikey Garcia dominated Adrien Broner, taking a unanimous decision win over The Problem. Final scorecards were 116-112, 116-112, 117-111 - scores that actually make the fight look a bit more competitive than it was.
After an early feeling out process, Garcia seemed to make the needed adjustments and have Broner figured out starting in round 4. From there, it looked like a Garcia rout, only to have Broner come on strong in rounds 9 and 10. To close the fight, Garcia took back the momentum with a big round 12, capping off an excellent performance.
