Former WBO junior welterweight champion Chris Algieri will return to action on Dec. 5 against Erick Bone.
The match will be among the featured undercard battles supporting the world middleweight championship between Daniel Jacobs and Peter Quillin, which will be held inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., and televised live on Showtime.
Algieri (20-2, 8 KOs) made waves when he survived a two-knockdown opening round against Ruslan Provodnikov to rally back and win a split decision to capture his lone world title. He rode that fame into a huge duel with Manny Pacquiao, but he was felled six times en route to a lopsided, unanimous loss.
