Well, Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White was right about one part of the Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor negotiation: Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (49-1-1, 34 KOs) and Gennady Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs) are bound for T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Monday on ESPN's “SportsCenter,” Golden Boy Promotions frontman Oscar de la Hoya announced that the hotly-anticipated middleweight showdown between Canelo and “GGG” will emanate from the T-Mobile Arena on Sept. 16.
“Keep in mind everybody wanted this fight. It’s the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas,” said De la Hoya. “So everybody wants to go to Vegas, have a great time, watch a great fight with GGG and Canelo.
