The prelims set an unforgettable tone, with the first six fights ending in nothing but knockouts and submissions that had the energy in the arena peaking before the main card even began. It was clear from early on that this card was something special. In the main event, Dustin Poirier stepped into the Octagon for his “Last Dance,” and true to form, he brought the fight. He and Max Holloway went toe-to-toe in a relentless, high-paced battle for the BMF title. After five grueling rounds, it was Holloway who went home with the belt, but the night just as much belonged to Poirier as he proved once again that diamonds are forever.
