Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight Bobby Green did not say exactly what ailed him, but it has deprived him of his ability to walk.
Green posted on his Instagram Stories shortly after news broke on Thursday that he had sustained a serious injury that ejected him from UFC 319. “King” was booked against Diego Ferreira, and the still-undisclosed injury forced the promotion to reschedule it to at a later date.
Green had plans on ending a two-loss skid at this event, where Mauricio Ruffy and Paddy Pimblett put him away in back-to-back outings.
