B.J. Penn ‘in the process of finalizing’ four-fight contract extension with UFC

UFC Hall of Famer B.J. Penn hasn’t found much success in the Octagon of late, losing five bouts in a row. His last win came way back in 2010. But that hasn’t dulled his desire to fight. Penn will return to the UFC next month when he faces jiu-jitsu specialist Ryan Hall in a lightweight bout at UFC 232 - and says that he’s likely going to sign a contract extension to continue his career after that.

The 39-year-old former two-division champion elaborated on his plans in an interview on his website:

“I’m just in the process of finalizing a new four-fight contract with the UFC.
