Former female bantamweight title challenger Bethe Correia is about to say goodbye to her MMA career. After eight years and 17 professional bouts, ‘Pitbull’ herself shared the news on her Instagram that her fight against Wu Yanan will be her last one.
In a lengthy post, Bethe thanked the UFC and claimed to be satisfied with where her MMA career led her. Furthermore, Correia believes she has done enough to help build women’s mixed martial arts and that it is time for the new generation of female fighters to conquer their space.
“Only a figther knows when it is time to stop and move on to other endeavors.
