Bethe Correia has a new date for her retirement.
Multiple people with knowledge of the news confirmed to MMA Fighting that the one-time bantamweight title challenger will face Karol Rosa in a 135-pound contest at an Oct. 2 UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas. Combate first reported the matchup.
Correia (11-5-1) was let go by the UFC after losing to Pannie Kianzad in July 2020, but negotiated a new deal to make her retirement bout against Wu Yanan. An appendicitis surgery forced Correia off that January 2021 card in Abu Dhabi.
