The young Bellator fighter was scheduled to compete at Bellator 154 last Saturday night (May 14, 2016) in San Jose, Calif., but was struck by a hit-and-run driver on April 30 in Delray Beach, Fla., and ultimately succumbed to his injuries on May 4.
In his honor, Bellator MMA announced it will create the "Jordan Parsons Memorial Scholarship Fund," which will fund the recipients attending The J. Robinson Intensive Wrestling Camp where Parsons sharpened his skills.
"Jordan Parsons was an integral part of the Bellator family and his devastating loss is one that we are all continuing to mourn," Bellator President Scott Coker said.
