Bellator returns this week with another international event, which as a bonus treat is an early afternoon card.
This one’s got some major stakes at the top, with the main event being a rematch between Bellator mainstay Patricky Pitbull (23-10) and Irish talent Peter Queally (13-5, 1 draw). Queally was victorious in their first encounter due to a cut which led to a doctor stoppage. Patricky’s brother Patricio has vacated the lightweight belt, so now this bout will be for the 155lb title as well, making all of this even more dramatic.
Queally had toiled around the European scene picking up wins, but it was his victory over prospect Ryan Scope that earned him major visibility.
