Quinton Jackson and Wanderlei Silva might be past their respective primes, but the veterans were still well compensated for their heavyweight co-main event bout at Bellator 206.
“Rampage” topped the payroll, earning $300,000 for a his second-round technical knockout triumph over Silva. A right hand from Jackson put Silva on his seat, and a barrage of follow-up punches brought an end to the contest at the 4:32 mark of the period. “The Axe Murderer” pocketed $200,000 in defeat, making him the second-highest paid fighter on the card.
Neither Jackson nor Silva were scheduled to receive a win bonus.
