After more than a year off, Bellator MMA light heavyweight champion Liam McGeary is finally set to return to action and defend his crown. In the main event of Bellator 163 (online betting) on Friday, the Englishman will take on Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran Phil Davis.
McGeary hasn’t fought since he submitted longtime veteran and former UFC champ Tito Ortiz in the first frame at Bellator 142 last September. He has yet to lose as a pro and Davis, a powerful American wrestler, is expected to give him the toughest test of his career.
