Bellator 160 medical suspensions: Patricio Pitbull potentially out until 2017 with leg fracture

It's probably a lock we won't see Patricio Freire again until next year.

"Pitbull" fractured the fibula in his right leg Friday night against Benson Henderson in the main event of Bellator 160 in Anaheim. California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) doctors have suspended him for six months unless he's cleared by a physician due to the break, according to a public document obtained by MMA Fighting on Monday.

Henderson won the bout by second-round TKO (injury) after "Pitbull" took the first round. Henderson will now meet Michael Chandler for the Bellator lightweight title in November.
