Bellator 149: "Shamrock vs. Gracie 3" takes place on Feb. 19, 2016, inside Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The featured bout on the main card is an openweight contest between mixed martial arts (MMA) legends Ken Shamrock and Royce Gracie.
Originally, Melvin Guillard was scheduled to face Mike Bronzoulis in a lightweight bout set for Spike TV, but Bronzoulis withdrew from Bellator 149 due to injury. Derek Campos has agreed to take the bout in his stead on short notice.
Longtime fight veteran Guillard (32-15-2, 2 NC) was brought into Bellator MMA with much fanfare, but came up short against "Cold Roll" Brandon Gritz (14-4) in the main event of Bellator 141 last August.
