Terry Brazier edged out Alex Lohore to claim the BAMMA welterweight world title in the main event of BAMMA 34 at the SSE Arena, London on Friday night.
It was all Lohore early on. He dropped his former teammate and scored a judo throw in the first 90 seconds. Brazier came back into the contest, completely overwhelming the defending champion with a smothering grappling game and finished the round with a triangle attempt.
Brazier came out hot in the second, putting Lohore down with clean left hand. As in the first, Brazier used his pressure to drain his opponent up against the fence.
