UFC bantamweight contender Aspen Ladd is set to return this summer.
MMA Fighting confirmed with sources with knowledge of the 135-pound matchup that Ladd (9-1) will face Macy Chiasson (7-1) at a UFC event on July 24, following an initial report by ESPN.
This will be Ladd’s first fight since December 2019.
Ladd defeated Yana Kunitskaya by third-round TKO in her most recent fight, but was sidelined in 2020 after missing out on a pair of high-profile bouts. In March of last year, Ladd saw opponent Julianna Pena withdraw from a scheduled bout due to an injury.
