Arthur Ribas, brother of rising UFC strawweight prospect Amanda Ribas, has signed a multi-fight deal with Brazilian-based promotion Taura MMA just days after announcing his intention to return to the cages, the company announced Tuesday.
Taura MMA has yet to define a date and location for Ribas’ first fight back in the sport. Speaking with MMA Fighting last week, Ribas said he planned on making a comeback in late 2020 or early next year.
Taura MMA also announced the signing of Marcio Alexandre Jr. (17-5), who scored a win over middleweight contender Paulo Costa on The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil.
